Couch Oil Company is located at the intersection of Hillsborough Road and Main Street in Durham, NC.  The second-generation family business operates out of a previous Pure Oil station in the historic West Durham neighborhood and has served the Triangle Area since 1949.  A long history of building relationships with customers and employees remains the company’s main objective.  The legacy left by Carlton and Margaret Couch, along with past employees, sets the standard for what we are still about today.  

Thank you for visiting our site.  You will get a taste of our long history and learn of ways that we can meet your important needs.  You are welcome to come by our office and experience the pictures from our past, an antique Coca-Cola drink box, a 1946 Kelvinator water fountain and an old-fashioned mail drop box which decorates the inside of our office.
